Digital X-Rays and Dental CT Scanner 3D Imaging

I have made a substantial investment in digital dental equipment for my office because I chose to adopt the technology available to reduce radiation exposure to my patients as well as reduce chemical exposure to my team members. Digital radiography has allowed us to become more "green" by reducing the use of chemicals used to process film as well as avoiding the need to use , handle and disgard lead foil. Several studies have shown a range of 50-80% less radiation per exposure than with traditional film radiographs.

I have obtained a Facility permit  for a Dental CT Scanner from The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. In my office I  operate the Sirona XG3D Cone-beam, computed tomography, three-dimensional imaging technology.  This equipment and technology  provides dentists with excellent information to assist in diagnosing patients with particular needs.
